The Doubletree is located close to the river cruise port (we actually walked it) and the train station (very quick walk). There is a wonderful little grocery store a few doors down that has great ready made meals. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfy and the staff was so accommodating! It sits on the water and has great views of the city. I highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel for five nights, split between two reservations—one with breakfast included and one without. I asked to swap the breakfast from my last day, when I had an early departure, to another day, but the hotel refused. They offered a breakfast box instead, but it wasn’t ready on time, so I left without eating.
Additionally, the hotel was under construction, which wasn’t disclosed beforehand. There was no lobby, no conference room, and very limited space. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here until these issues are resolved.

This hotel is easy to get to from airport by train. Just A few minutes away from centrum and 5min to nearest metro stop. Unfortunately renewation was going on in hotel and all the facilities was not available. Gym was great, breakfast was good. Room was nice and clean.

Urine smell in bathroom, malfunctioning shower, poor breakfast experience and staff unable to resolve issues. They did follow up with an apology after our stay, but I would expect the issues to be resolved during our stay. Not worth the premium price.

The location of this hotel could not be more perfect for exploring Amsterdam in the surrounding areas. You need to exit the correct side of the train station for the shortest walk.
The views of the canal was very nice! The bed was super comfortable and we did not experience any issues during our stay. As they were doing extensive renovations on the main floor, the area was moved into an area by the meeting rooms. My diamond status was recognized and we were provided free breakfast daily. The offerings were pretty extensive, including meats and cheeses, different types of breads and sweets, fruits, etc. You could also order omelettes or made to order eggs via the servers.
I liked that they had different types of milk, including almond milk in the refrigerator for use
The staff was super friendly!
If you need any quick groceries, there is an Albert Heijn very close
Tap on/off with our credit card worked just fine on the trains as well.
