Fast cues when you buy tickets online, amazing experience, worth a visit. Consider to spend there at least 2.5 hours, good option to escape from the rain showers

Looked forward to visiting the renovated museum. First of all the good things.
The renovation of the building itself is excellent, the superb paintings have been arranged logically, the cafeteria is good and the restaurant looked to have an unusual menu.
Now the not so good. The free guide is not upto much and the gf layout map is very bad.
The signage is appalling, beautifully designed but incredibly small. The interpretation of the paintings is often simplistic to say the least. The lift doors and controls are painted white in a white lobby and needless to say with poor signage.

If ever there is a time to be in Netherlands to admire 17th century paintings ,it is now.The capital is packed with Masterpieces from treasures all over the world.
Combine the temporary exhibitions with the already permanent
Collection of the Rijksmuseum and the Heritage, there is really no better time to be here if you love the Art of the Golden Age.
I enjoy Rembrandt and Van Gogh , my favorite.
I was truly blessed to be here in Amsterdam.

Rijksmuseum was a gorgeous museum with very good collection of exhibition be it paintings or artifice. The exterior was very castle look-alike while the interior of was very unique. Tho i do not totally understand half of the exhibit presented. But each of them are classic in their own ways. Good to visit when in Amsterdam.
