PROS - The boat was docked 15-20 mins walk from central and perfect location for walking into town. The decking was great to sit and look out.
They provide a free breakfast with toast, spreads eggs and ham. Coffee, tea and juice.

CONS - The rooms were tiny. We had a bunk bed. There were a few suspect speckled stains on my bed sheet and a period stain on the duvet. There was a basin in the room but with only hot water. The toilets were unkempt and I wouldnt have considered washing in there.

For the price you can't expect too much and if you're staying for a Friday night then its one of the cheapest options in Amsterdam.

Absolute best part is location for the price...and an adventure besides. Docked in harbor right at the NEMO Science Museum. Only about a 15-20 minute easy walk to Amsterdam Centraal. Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast 8:30-10 am, exceeded expectation. Great coffee (better than cruise ship we got off of!), tea, milk, juices, toast, cheese, several meat choices, you can fry your own egg, butter, jelly, peanut butter, nu-tella. Rooms are VERY small as you would expect on a boat, but had very comfortable beds and a sink. Bathrooms are shared. Upstairs had a toilet room and one room with toilet and shower. Downstairs bathrooms are newer and larger. Bring your shower shoes. There was a cross section of ages. There was noise when people came in late, but ok. The dining area has a refrigerator to share and a microwave and there is a large grocery on route to/from station with lots of selections for easy preparations. Sharing the area brought conversations with fellow travellers that doesn't happen in most hotels... lots of different languages! We stayed five nights and it worked very well for us.
