Our table at breakfast not clean : crumbs...

We were asked to book a slot for breakfast for the availability of the Chef; the following, at the sue slot, when we asked for fried eggs we were told no activity in the kitchen, only scramble eggs as available on the table...

Rooms are nice, bed comfortable but no light curtains...only dark heavy ones to darken the room; so not very intimate as the people on the parking lots have a straight view into the rooms..
Good beers; nice service at the bar, staff available, courteous and smiling.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Good experience overall but there’s a couple of improvement points. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Some improvement points, the bar service was non existent due to the busy diner service, meant we couldn’t get a drink to just relax in the sitting area. Room was a little cold. It would be good if they have an info guide of some sort in the room, explaining the fantastic history of the hotel and area, nearby towns and villages to visit, facilities available (bike hires etc). At check in they asked for your preferred breakfast sitting (1 hour slot) but no one really checked in the morning to see which sitting you’re supposed to be in. A fair selection of breakfast choices, not much to rave or complain.

The hotel is about 20 min walk from the station and town. There are no amenities close by. So if you want somewhere a bit more central then this might not be a good option.

Wonderful experience. Both the public areas and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Checking in and out is possible online, very convenient. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Good shower. We didn’t book the breakfast because we’re both small eaters and €17.50 for a piece of toast isn’t worth it.
It is very nice that the Fallon has a private parking area but they charge €10…….
We brought our small dog and the hotel charges almost €20,00 for that. I expected at least a dogbed, massage and breakfast for that money. Alas, you just pay for the privilege.
These comments aside I totally recommend this hotel!
