It's a dream with all the amenities, the cleanness, the spaciousness of the bathroom and the comfort of the bed, as well as the service you get there.
We were there for a wedding and we stayed in the Junior Suite (I believe), but the room was fantastic with a great view. The elevator that goes down directly from the hotel to the main street of Zermatt was definitely useful (considering it's quite a distance from the station to the hotel and how high the hotel is located at).
What I recall was the food I ate there. The food was not trying too hard to impress like a nouvelle cuisine like, simple but it was delicious. The steak I had there was fantastic. Portion wise, it's not overkilling and that's what I liked.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful summer week here. The welcome was great. We didn't arrive until nearly 1 am and even though the kitchen was closed we were offered anything we wanted to eat. The staff were excellent, the food was great and the view from our room was beautiful. After a busy day exploring we would relax in the jacuzzi and admire the view. When we left we were even given food for the road trip! I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Every room has a great view [they all face the same way]and every chalet has its own wellness room with outdoor jacuzzi.

Lovely special night out. Great food and wine. Lovely view. Great service. Nice rooms and attention to detail with a blanket and dog bowl ready for us. Worth the little hike up the hill. Worth a visit every time.

My wife, my daughter (2,5 years) and I stayed here for 2 nights in a Junior suite. We got there from Täsch using their partner taxi Christophe which worked absolutely fine. Check-in was very swift. Room was perfect and super clean. We loved it.

Cervo is pricey but it's also pretty worth the splurge. Went there on a ski holiday (well, the husband hit the slopes while I hit the spa) in January 2017. What was really great about this hotel was the low density of people (only 36 rooms and suites in the whole property split among 6 chalets) and the fact that each chalet has its own spa. I really appreciated the lower chance of seeing random naked strangers (apparently it's a faux pas to wear/bring anything but your towel into the saunas).

We stayed in the Cosy Deluxe Room which was quite spacious and had plenty of storage space for all the bulky snow clothing. We had a direct view of the Matterhorn from our window and enjoyed many a breakfasts (you can get it delivered to your room!!) watching the sky light up in the morning over the mountain. The only thing about the room that really irked me was because there is no shower partition, when you take a shower, the water goes everywhere. Luckily, someone usually cleans it up during housekeeping hours and turn down service. Oh, another thing is the bed/pillow was really soft (a bit too much so) and the sheets were reeeaaaalllly course. Like, hospital linen course. My skin quite benefitted from the nightly exfoliation.

The service staff could do with a bit of fine tuning. There were a couple staff members that were quite good (Benjamin from front desk and all of the staff in Cervo Puro) but, also some that were just terrible (getting requests wrong, not booking the right spa appointments). The wait for the check-in was also quite long.

What really impressed me was the amenities. Aside from the quality toiletries, the room came stocked with delicious drinks and snacks. There was premium teas, beer from Cervo's bar, and a snack box filled with various delicious things (popcorn, dried dates, chocolate, gummy bears) which was refilled every 3 (?) days. Oh, and even more impressive was they gave a bag of goodies to take with us when we checked out. That was a really nice and thoughtful touch which left an awesome impression (even after paying our gigantic bill! Haha).

Location wise, the hotel is quite nicely situated. It's a short 15 minute walk to town and the elevator to get down town is right in front of the hotel.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and glad we splurged on the experience.

Dear jt373

Many thanks for your very detailed feedback on your stay with us. We highly appreciate your time and the information shared.

Winter times are busy indeed and aside of the relaxation you find in the almost private spa, we do have some rush hour times at reception during check out. We would gladly prepare the bill and all information the night prior for your information, so we could save some time here next time you join us for a ski vacation. It would be a great pleasure to welcome you back.

Sending kind regards,

Laura
