Stayed in this hotel for 2 Nights , its around 5 minutes from Interlaken West Train/Bus stop . Its located in residential area, hence very quite and peaceful. Its a decent hotel , with ok space and bathroom ( with tub) for 3 persons , lovely view from window ( No Balcony).Breakfast was good. Extremely pleased with the staff , all the while during our stay.
The hotel itself is a pretty good distance away from the Interlaken West train station. It being far away from the Jungfrau train stations at Interlaken Est wasn't a bother because the trains and the buses are frequent between the two stations anyways.
As for the hotel itself, the staff were very nice and they have a very nice dog that you can pat and befriend, and by day 2 he was approaching me wagging his tail whenever I see him after a long day of adventure and that was a dopamine releaser!
The breakfast was continental, I didn't mind because it was free after all. Also, they do have an elevator but it is pretty old. Takes a little bit of getting used to and it only has space for one person essentially.
As for the room itself, my room was actually renovated, you can tell by the washroom and the quality of the drinking water. That was a good one.
A bonus feature for the hotel which they went above and beyond is that they offer luggage storage even after you've checked out. In my case, I wasn't due to leave Interlaken until 7 pm, and they offered to put my luggage at a room and they did it for free. So no need to scramble for luggage storage at the train station.
And additionally, if you're leaving earlier than the 7 am breakfast time, they will over you a packed breakfast. I enjoyed eating them while on the train up to Grindelwald. I totally appreciate it. So as a result, I'll be giving them 5 stars.
3 night stay and short 5 minute walk from Interlaken West SBB with Migros Supermarket and everything you may need.
Hosts and staff made the experience memorable and the breakfast and coffee was spot on.

A truly heritage hotel with an old world ambience,antique clocks and super hospitable hosts!We were on the third floor..Beautiful mountain views and we loved the quiet neighborhood. It's very conveniently located..4 mins from Interlaken west .The breakfast was wholesome and served by with warmth and love.A must stay hotel at Interlaken!
This was our third visit to Interlaken staying at this very charming Hotel which is situated in a very quiet area just a stone's throw from Interlaken West train station. The station is also the gateway to all tourist areas within this region, and all shopping and restaurants are within walking distance.
Now the best bit is the Hotel itself, run with precision by Charlotte and Hermann and all the family. Nothing is too much trouble for these lovely people who put their heart and soul into making sure that guests are 'not just a booking'! The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfast menu is varied.
We would return to Hotel de la Paix time and time again and would never consider any other option when visiting Interlaken.
