we stayed for one night on the way back from jungfraujoch. We bought grocery from the street across and cooked our own food in the kitchen of the lodge and had a hearty meal suiting to our indian taste buds. the staff is helpful and polite. Loved the kitchen and the common areas. we were 3 of us. we had booked a private room. Free parking was available.

1 night stay with a family of 3 including one toddler, really the best location under the majestic Eiger mountain. You see it straight up from your window in Lodge 4! Late check-in was made very smooth by Simon and an early check-out with a delicious breakfast was made possible by Marsiles. Staff is very polite and courteous and try to help you in all the ways they can.

We had a small room (86 sq ft) with 2 twin beds put together and shared bathrooms. Room was small, however clean and well organized. The kitchen is very clean, had all cooking tools, utensils and equipment, and the fridge was clean and well organized. Bathrooms are shared with separate toilets for men and women and same showers.

Even though the breakfast starts at 7:30 am per their time, the reception lady Marsiles helped to set it up earlier for us at 7 am since we had to leave for our train to Jungfrau.

This place is featured in the Top Excursions brochure in Interlaken area as a place to stay, so it is worth checking out. the whole view and the feeling of being in mountains is phenomenal at this place.

Room Tip: Lodge 4 for Eiger view from window, best views, peaceful,

We were just the two of us and stayed in this Lodge for 4 nights around July 2015. The views from the windows was amazing. Waking up to the sun Shining directly on the Peak and lighting it up was awesome. The rooms are clean and cosy. Breakfast was good, with local Cheese offerings. And when you are on a budget this is the best that there is.

You can also buy discounted Tickets to the Jungfraujoch Trains we got a day ticket for 125 francs pP. which is an awesome deal if u are driving on your own till Grindelwald and are looking to use the trains just to the Glacier. The Jungfraujoch day tickets otherwise costs anywhere between 145(Limited to half day stay on the Glacier) to 185 Francs.

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the Train Station and Grindelwald's Central location makes it an optimal place as you can reach lots of places within an hours time. Interlaken by car is just 25 min, Lauterbrunnen about 30 min.

Room Tip: Rooms Facing the Mountains have amazing views.

I stay there every year. The rooms are simple but sufficient. There is a lot of space, you can sit outside and look at the Eiger north face. It has an international atmosphere. A well equipped kitchen for all the guests. The price is fair and the staff is friendly.

We visited last weekend for a ski-weekend with friends. The accommodations are simply what you need with friendly and helpful staff. Compared to the pricier options around Downtown lodge is a great value. Breakfast was simple but perfect to get the day going. The dining area / bar & games are also nice for Apres-Ski but not opened too late. Location was perfect in the middle of town, we were a short walk to dinner, bar, or a small market. I believe we were in Room 1 in Lodge 1 (where bar & games are) with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. The bathroom was close by and we had a sink in the room. I would definitely recommend for groups, friends, and families. Just keep in mind other groups can be noisy.

Room Tip: If there is extra vacancy, ask to be in a room away from a large group.
