What a pleasant surprise ... after traveling down a very long road, through an area that was extremely remote, we came upon this lovely historic Monastery. The service, the accommodations and the food were amazing ... it was a lovely trip!

This hotel is simply beautiful and the staff are extremely attentive. We felt extremely comfortable there and wanted to stay longer. Luca was outstanding and had great recommendations. The pool and garden area are stunning and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is also great.

My wife son and I stayed at Molino do Foci for 3 nights in June while travelling around Tuscanny. It's located just outside San Gimignano in a superb location that's secluded but also provides an excellent base to explore, with easy access to the town centre and the likes of Florence or Sienna. San Gimignano is a wonderfully impressive 13th century medieval town in its own right.and was one of our favourite locations during our vacation..

The hosts Heidi and Luca were both lovely, the building and bedrooms ooze Tuscan character and charm with, and the gardens and swimming pool area were beautiful..

Continental breakfast is provided which was very good. Evening snacks are available and 2 nights a wk a 3 course Tuscan meal is availble. This is highly recommended and was outstanding, the Ravioli with line nuts was particularly delicious., as was the house red chianti.

In summary we would highly recommend Molino do Foci.

We have recently stayed 1 week at this hotel, which served as a base to visit Central/ Northern Tuscany. The Hotel is ideally located, being 10 min drive from San Gimignano, one of the nicest towns in Tuscany. Some great restaurants are located in San Gimignano and also good shopping for local delicacies.
All in all a highly recommended accommodation.
