The title says it all. This hotel is in a great location and has everything you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are air conditioned and are cleaned everyday. The only very minor issue was that we were told that we didn't have to book for the dining room but when we went one night we were not allowed in because we hadn't booked.

If you are in a room overlooking the street it us definitely worth an upgrade to a room st the back of the hotel where the view is spectacular.

Great hotel, very affordable and a really close stroll to car park 1 (€20 per day) which is easy as there is no parking in the old town.
Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are petty big.
The staff are really friendly and remembered every time which room key to give us, which was a nice, personal touch.
Breakfast is €6 per person which is great value. The view from the restaurant/breakfast room is incredible!

Hotel Bel Soggiorno is inside the old town of San Gimignano and located in the very southern part. Everything is still within walking distance.

Lovely hotel. Fairly comfortable bed. Good Air condition. Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi.

Positives
Adorable view from the restaurant. Good breakfast.

Downsides
No fridge, nor coffee/tea amenities in the room.
Some street noise.

It is situated directly in the old town, perfect place. At the reception you will find very nice and friendly people! Also the breakfast is good (yogurt, some fruits, cereals, croissants, bread, coffee, juice, cappuccino...). If you book in advance as I did, you will get a very good price, even in August, during the vacation time, the most crowded month in the year.

We were very pleased with the location as it was an easy walk from the town's walls. Hotel is super charming with absolutely lovely views. We rented the quad room and there was more than adequate space. Breakfast was lovely and the views over the countryside were those that make memories. Would definitely recommend to others.
