My husband and I stayed at B&B Cimabue 9 for 3 nights this fall. Our host, Enrico, made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Each morning we had a delicious and filling breakfast. As we ate Enrico shared stories about life in modern Italy. The stories broadened our Italian trip beyond the typical tourist experience. Our big room was clean, well-appointed with a well-stocked bathroom and a terrace. The room featured 2 sets of windows that, when closed, completely blocked any street noise. The B&B's location was perfect and a 10 minute walk from the city center.
What proved that B&B Cimabue 9 is a special place occurred after we left Florence. Several days after our departure, my husband and I realized we had lost a package of items we had purchased in Florence. Enrico tracked down the package to a store we had visited on our last day in Florence. He offered to pick-up the package and mail it to us at our last stop in Italy. As promised, the package was waiting for us when we arrived in Rome. Enrico would not accept any compensation for his time or mailing expenses.
Bottom line: B&B Cimabue 9 is a great place to stay because of the clean rooms, the great breakfast, its proximity to the city's many attractions, and most especially Enrico. In all of Italy you will not find a better, more gracious, and kinder host than Enrico.More
