This hotel provides huge rooms and at amazing location. Buffet breakfast is good and service and staffs are also good. If you like big huge rooms in low budget ...go for this... for me building and lift was very scary. Rest all was perfect...

Stay here for 6 nights while on semester break abroad. For the money we paid it was a great stay. The location couldn't have been better and the staff were friendly, helpful and all spoke English. Free breakfast was not fancy but definitely satisfactory.
Only drawbacks, no heat! It was quite chilly at the end of October but the hotel heat was not on yet. Otherwise everything was exactly as expected. Rated lower in room cleanliness because towels on floor were simply re-hung on the rack and bed sheets were only changed once. Bells from the close-by Duomo can be annoying for light sleepers.

We had a lovely stay here at Constantini after being moved from a partnering hotel (Hotel Medici) due to overbooking. The room we were in was actually quite large, but I wouldn't imagine that all rooms would be so spacious. They did have a/c in the rooms (included in the price) which was really nice, but you did have to request for them to turn it on. A/C is really expensive for them, so they did turn it off whenever it wasn't in use. It didn't take much time for the room to cool down though, so it wasn't a big deal for us. The hotel staff at Constantini was super helpful and eager to give tips about places around Florence. Their English wasn't perfect, but basic communication was very easy. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was pretty nice. The in-room wifi didn't really work for us, but the connection was great in the breakfast room/lobby area. The location was great! When you stepped out of the front of the hotel, you were looking at the Duomo. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again!

Recently stayed in this hotel and was rather impressed for the location and price. However they constantly turned off our air conditioning every time we would leave the hotel. It was so hot in humid it would take hours to get back to cool. The hotel staff is rather rude. It's a none smoking hotel and one of the night staff was lighting up a smoke in the middle of the common room. They under pay there staff, they never cleaned our room and tried to blame it on us sleeping in. We always had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. The bathroom itself was not bad however the smell was gross and unappealing. The hotel staff also wanted us to take our own garbage to the bins out front. We had an extra person and by the end of it, they made us pay an extra 132$. We complained about the lack of service at check out and told them about all the things that we expect in a hotel and told them we were not gonna pay the 132$ she called the "police" mean while it was her boss and they were completely rude. Long story short don't come here .
