This apartment has the convenience of being within walking distance of the station/bus station. It does mean however traversing some very busy roads. The apartment is third floor, with lift, in a block of flats and overlooks an ample green/garden courtyard so traffic noises are distant. It is spacious, could sleep four thanks to a double sofa bed and twin beds in the bedroom. The bathroom is small but everything functions. Galley kitchen, well equipped, adjoins living room. Only time had to contact the owner - who lives some 20 kms away - was to check how to turn the hot water on. (There is a balcony with sink and washing machine, also hot water boiler.) Though without the atmosphere of the historic centre, it was possible to walk to all main sights. We were there in October. It should be noted, if October turns out to be chilly, the heating in such a block of flats is regulated for the whole building and does not come on until November.
