Was a little disappointed in this tour. Visited Pisa - which was great but just left there for an hour with no guide or explanation. Then went to Vinci - visited a museum of Leonardo de Vinci - but were just replicas of his inventions. All the signs were written in Italian and our guide didn't tell us that there were english translation cards available. Lunch - a highlight - was at a winery high in the mountains - in a gorgeous setting. Wine tasting there as well. Off to San Gimignano - medieval walled city - but was way too crowded (maybe because it was August) and way too commercialized. Siena was last stop - very nice place -was crowded there as well - and our guide who was supposed to give us a tour of the Duomo lost us in the crowd - was disappointing. Also, little consideration of bathroom breaks, food breaks etc. Was a long day. Too many sites in one day.

Hello,
first of all thank you for joing one of our tour.
I am sorry to read that you did not like the tour that much.
In order to see all the cities in a day, we have to sacrifice soem of the time spent in each place and I knoe that sometimes it can be annoying if one is willing to explore. But, as I said, if you choose a tour that brings you to many places, the time will be reduced.
I am instead really sorry that the guide did not do the good job that we require. Thank you for pointing it out.
Best
Claudia

Today my fiancé and I did the cooking lesson. We were met by our chef Antonio who took us to the local market do some wine, balsamic vinegar, and truffle oil tasting, and to get the produce.
We then went walked to the kitchen where we all participated in preparing our lunch. Today we did Bruschetta, patte, traditional ragu, and tiramisu. The ragu was amazing!! And the tiramisu is the best we've ever had! Antonio was knowledgeable, funny, and a great teacher. Learning how to make fresh pasta was something we both really valued. Would highly recommend if you enjoy cooking and want to learn the Tuscan way.

What a wonderful tour. The tour guide Francesco was especially good. The wine tasting was pure dead brilliant. Best bit was the sweets at the end and also the Tuscan scenery and beautiful towns.

Me and my fiancé decided to take the San Gimignano, sienna and Chianti tour as we were only in Tuscany for three days and wanted to see as much as possible. Very glad we did!

The tour took us first to San Gimignano which is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. We spent two hours there which is enough to see most of the town but not to do much else. It was long enough for us to get some of the worlds best ice cream however and take a lot of pictures!

We then went to a local winery in the Chianti region where we were given a light lunch and a selection of excellent local wines which we had the option of purchasing afterwards but with no strong sales pitch. The winery had a great atmosphere and felt very relaxed.

The tour continued to Sienna where we were given a 45 minute guided tour before being allowed to wander for an hour and a half. The tour was interesting but a bit slow paced and I would have liked a bit more time to explore sienna independently. Before leaving sienna we were given a free tasting session of handmade local sweets which were excellent.

The last stop was Monteriggioni, a lovely hilltop fort which was easily explored in the Half hour we stopped there.

Our tour guide (apologies as I can't remember his name but he was young and spoke English and possibly Russian) was friendly, funny and informative, keeping everything on schedule and everybody in a good mood.

Overall I couldn't believe how much we got for our money and how non-rushed the whole experience felt. Although I would have liked more time in each place, it was amazing to see so many lovely parts of Tuscany in one day and is something I would recommend to anyone visiting florence for a short trip

Hello!
Thank you for the review and for all the nice things you said about the tour and our guide!
I am very glad to see that you had a pleasant experience and I hope you will join us again in the future.
Unfortunately sometimes the time to visit each town is a bit short but that is because we try to make you see as much as possible. We try to make our best to create a good experience and we will trry in the future to organise longer stays in the different locations.
Best
