We spent 5 nights in this fabulous boutique hotel and looking forward to come again.
We fell in love with Florence and Il Guelfo Bianco was an important part of this wonderful experience.
Located 5 min from the Duomo and 10 min walk from the SMN station, this hotel is a gem. We loved the antique furniture and decor and the vintage, artful feeling. Antonella, the hotel manager, and the friendly staff go the extra mile to make their guests happy.
Nice room with lovely decor, good air conditioning and wifi, big bathroom with all amenities, very comfy mattress and spotless cleaning, all were excellent. And the on suite terrace that Antonella reserved for us at booking time was a great bonus, thank you!
The breakfast was one of the best we had, we loved the organic food and fresh fruits from the family farm and we could order any type of coffee to enjoy on the cozy patio.
We're glad that TripAdvisor enabled us to find this gem in Florence. You will not find it on booking.com or other booking sites, do access directly the hotel site, booking goes flawless. We warmly recommend it!

Upon our rather early arrival we were greeted warmly by Antoinette, and although official checking wasn't until the afternoon we were welcomed to go to our room settle in and enjoy the buffet breakfast.
An abundance of food to select, not your usual buffet of toast and cereal. Fresh fruit, cakes & pastries, cereal, toast, bruschetta (delicious!) Italian cured meats, cheeses, fresh fruit juice, still/sparking water and of course a fresh Italian coffee of your choice.
A fabulous way to begin the day each day with that to fill you up before exploring the wonderful Florence/Firenze!
Highly recommended!!

We stayed in room 102 for 4 nights and were very comfortable. It was our first trip to Firenze and the hotel is so close to everything. Our room had a very comfortable bed, large windows (floor to almost the very high ceiling), and a clean bathroom with a shower. The bed was more comfortable than the one we had at a four star hotel in Rome! The AC worked quite nicely. You have to be patient because it does take some time for the room to cool when you've been gone all day, but the room will cool off. You can adjust the temperature on a panel in the wall.

Breakfast was the best we had during our entire trip to Italy. Be sure to have the hard boiled eggs and the bruschetta. And the fruit! Nothing compares to fresh watermelon. The staff is fantastic and so helpful whenever we had a question. We can't wait to return to Firenze and to this hotel!

The hotel is very nice with antique furniture and nice decor for vintage style lovers. The staff is very noce and recommended really nice places in the city. The location is close to all sites; it is only a 5 minutes walk from the Duomo Plazza. I recommend this hotel for family and couples.

As others have said, this really is a gem of a hotel in Florence. Genuinely friendly, caring staff, good sized rooms, clean, comfortable, terrific breakfast and right in the heart of Florence. Recommended.
