Really comfortable room nicely decorated. A bit noisy as on the street side.
Rooftop bar is a must in the evening for the fabulously views. The barman really takes pride mixing the drinks. Decor of the whole hotel is as the name suggests is grand. Would have given 5 stars but for the street noise

This hotel is very well placed near by “ el duomo”, one thing you need to check is where your is is located, the street of Firenze can be very noisy, the breakfast is nice and the employee of the hotel are always ready to help.
Price of the hotel is very good considering that you are near all the sites to visit.

I loved this hotel. It is central to everything. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is varied and tasty. The room we were in (431) had a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. The roof terrace has great views and also serves snacks. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio. Our room was at the front of the hotel. It was a bit noisy but it did not stop us getting to sleep. There is a Carrefour minimarket nearby. There are good places to eat all around. The Lorenzo indoor and outdoor Market is worth a visit as well as the museums and galleries

Room tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy

We're already planning our next stay at the Cavour in Florence. Absolutely loved the place, perfect location, staff were wonderful, room was really comfortable and clean. That was only our second holiday in Italy and our first in Florence, but it won't be the last.
