Spent 5 relaxing days in May at this peaceful resort. Rooms, surroundings are beautiful and the staff could not do enough for us. Great location to visit Cortona and surrounding areas. Extremely pleasant and enjoyable. We look forward to returning one day. Tony & Anne from Leeds

My wife and I enjoy 4 fantastic days at this beautiful resort. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool, in particular, has to be one of the nicest in Tuscany. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The included breakfast was also amazing. We would come back indeed.

We picked this hotel on advise of relatives. We loved the atmosphere and scenery. People at reception were extremely helpful. Especially Vincenzo and his colleague. They helped usñ out with any requests we had.
The swimming pool is a pleasure. Clean and very relaxing after a day of visiting the beautiful Toscane .
Rooms are very clean.
Breakfast is OK but if you are staying for week there could be more variety for example in the bread.
Overall a super stay. Thank you Borgo il Meloni to make our vacation most memorable.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, beautiful place, quiet, charming and romantic . Vincenzo greeted us at the reception desk and handed all the information with a hearty smile on his face. Very clean, breakfast delicious and plentiful, relaxing pool and good food in the restaurant next door. We think that we will go back there and we will recommend this place to everyone we know, the price of stay also affordable, a good location when it comes to a trip to the most important points of Tuscany. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for a great service, especially to Vincenzo.

The hotel is undoubtable very, very beautiful and traditionally Tuscan, and the grounds are stunning. However we were surprised to come upon it as soon as we did when driving towards Cortona (we actually passed it and had to turn back) as it is on the flat part technically known as Camucia before the mountain road starts and therefore totally inaccessible to Cortona without driving or taking an excessively expensive taxi unless you are a closet mountaineer!!
That said, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful and the swimming pool is divine.
We stayed in the traditional main building where the rooms are Tuscan style so small windows, high ceilings no balcony so just a place to sleep. Some of the more modern outbuildings seemed to have more outside space but less character.
The restaurant served nice food but the wine list was a bit over pretentious as they didn't actually have anything on it so you were presented with a few substitute wines to choose from, which was actually quite entertaining !!
Breakfast was a treat as it was served on a beautiful patio outside the restaurant although some of the food choices were limited.
Overall a wonderful experience - just not quite what we were expecting when we booked .....
