I would like to start this review by saying Casa Gorgacce was exactly what we were looking for in a Tuscany farm villa. We loved it. This place puts you in the middle of the Tuscany culture. It was a quiet spot to relax & unwind, after a day of discovering all of Tuscany's quaint little hill towns. Siena, Montone, Assisi, Montepulciano, & Cortona were some of the towns we visited during our week stay. All of these places were easy day trips, from where Gorgacce is located. Also, located nearby, were two of the best restaurants we ate at during the entire trip, “Girasoli di Sant' Andrea” a restaurant-winery & “Locanda di Nonna Gelsa” a family owned establishment. The villa was very clean, & has been up dated with modern amenities, such as television, microwave, Wi-Fi, but still has the rustic look & feel of “Back in the Day” Tuscany. The pool was a nice added touch, but being from Texas & New Jersey, the weather had to be warmer, for us to take a dip. If you prefer to experience a way of life, instead of 5 star luxury hotel, Gorgacce will not disappoint.
