We stayed at Hotel Condor for five nights and had a wonderful time. All the staff were warm and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The signora's baking skills were a delight to look forward to. The hotel was only a short walk to the centre of town away from the hustle and bustle. Well recommended.

We stayed at Hotel Condor for 4 of the most wonderful nights of our lives. Taormina and Hotel Condor will forever be in our hearts and we hope to return someday. We trained from Palermo via Messina and the ride was spectacular. The landscape and view along the coast were absolutely breath taking. The Taormina Giardini train station is stunning. We shared a cab up the mountain to Hotel Condor and the vacation of a lifetime began. The hotel is definitely worth the price. The views are wonderful. It is in a great location if you don't mind walking (Actually don't go to Taormina if you don't like to walk its hilly and bumpy and traffic zooms by so be prepared). We love to walk and explored every area in our 4 days. I wouldn't go for any less as you will feel cheated. It is an interesting hotel because the rooms are below reception-it is built into the hill. The 2nd floor terrace has table and chairs where breakfast is served, a winding staircase to a sitting area with a couple of lounge chairs. I got up for sunrise and it was worth it! Definitely take the Hop On Bus up to Castelmola to view Taormina and the Sea from above. I wish we had stayed longer than an hour in Castelmola. Another day Condor arranged for us to be picked up and taken down to the La Dolce Vita on the sea. For 8 euro a person we got transportation, a beach chair towel and umbrella for the day-this is a must do also. Marcello at the front desk was wonderful taking care of anything we needed or wanted. I didn't get the names of the other staff but everyone was great, spoke English and were accommodating. The hotel could use a little Tender Loving Car like a new awning and flower pots but in its own way that was charming too. Close to the hotel, we ate at Etna Restaurant twice and really loved it. Great great pizza! If you are looking for friendly people and a great view stay at Hottol Condor.

I have stayed here 3 times now and just love it! Ask for a room overlooking the sea and you won't be disappointed. The family who run this hotel are so nice and always make you feel welcome. Excellent breakfast, good wifi and lovely clean rooms. It's a short walk to the main town, restaurants and cable car to the beach. .

Spent the last four days at Hotel Condor. I cannot describe how delighted I was to be here. Spotless, quiet, incredibly beautiful view, a/c worked great during four very warm and humid days. Wifi great, breakfast good. Price very reason, staff attentive, Marcello, Ivan great. Difficult to find but you'll be pleased to get away from crowds, still close to everything. If I had to complain about anything, I reluctantly state that the mattress is somewhat uncomfortable.
