Hotel Schuyler is a gem! Great staff. Drinks on the veranda at sunset. Clean rooms with great views. Garden space is beautiful. A nice calm environment and close to the Corso. Love this place and so will you.

We stayed here for 4 nights and nothing was a problem. Owner personally welcomed us and raw staff really understand good customer service. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is amazing. If you can ask foepr ground floor room 2 or 3 - best rooms with larger balcony and baths. Easy walk to everywhere in Taormina.

We loved our stay in this attractive and well run hotel. We had a sunrise suite on the top floor which was small but clean and well appointed and had a large terrace overlooking the sea with a canopy and comfortable sun beds. I think these suites are the only ones in the hotel with a large terrace, most balconies are small with just a couple of chairs and a table, which is fine if you don't want to laze around. It's important to note that there is not much communal "lounging" space in this hotel, just a smallish roof terrace. The situation is good. Very easy to walk onto the main street as long as you can manage a couple of flights of steep steps. If you are driving don't be put off by the alarming route shown on google maps, the hotel actually provides very detailed instructions and our GPS worked perfectly. But do pre book hotel parking, it is worth every penny.
Receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly as indeed were all of the staff we met. Breakfast out on the terrace was excellent, we particularly appreciated it being served at the table rather than buffet style. A very good, well run hotel which really thinks about pleasing its customers.

Room Tip: The sunrise suites have the best balconies and a great view

Not a luxury hotel but very clean and close to everything, I had a lovely stay, amazing views, most of the staff were very nice, I stayed 5 nights, very comfortable.

Negatives would be lots of stairs to anywhere you would like to go, no tea or coffee in the rooms you need to get it from the bar and no restaurant, you need to eat out .
