Ticket for child. It was a interesting place. See the pool in island. The sea was too cold. We enter the sea and leave immediately. We can not swim .

If you are near Taormina, this island is a must see! The views are stunning and it is a fun experience to walk over to the old castle.

This beach is stunning and the island in the middle looks great we spent a few days here while in Sicily and didn't find it to be too busy however we did go in September at the end of season so that may be why, you have to pay for sunbed and the beach is a rocky one, that may not sound that bad but anyone who has tried to go into the sea on a rocky beach will understand how difficult it is. If you are going here my advise would be either to by some footwear for swimming, there are people selling it on the steps down to the beach, or try get in after walking to the end of the pier where the water is a little deeper so you'll be able to avoid standing on all the small rocks.

Isola Bella is a very beautiful location with crystal clear water, lots of interesting sealife in the rock pools and a stunning island that you can wander around for a small fee of 2 euros.
I visited this beach twice during my stay in Taormina at the end of May and it wasn't too busy. It does get busier along the sandy strip to the island around mid-day to early afternoon so if you'd like to sit on the softer area of the beach then go early to get a spot or late afternoon. The beach is rocky so it's a good idea to wear sandals or rock shoes and take a towel or something soft to sit on if you're planning on staying all day.

As a few others have mentioned there are a few ladies on the beach who continuously offer massages and don't take no for an answer, I understand they are just trying to make money but it can get a little annoying when you just want to relax so decline politely but firmly if it's not what you want!

The water around Isola bella is great for snorkelling/ diving. I will mention that I was stung by a jellyfish whilst snorkelling so do be careful if you have children who enjoy swimming as it did come rather keen.

Overall a beautiful spot, definitely worth spending a few hours here.

It is not better than any beach in Taormina. It is very ordinary. Doesn’t have anything special. The beach is very rocky and stones are sharp
