Excellent Norman/Arab church really serene but have to pay to get in irrelevant of your age group which is a pity as it was the best holy place.

It costs to come in, inside it is small and there is nothing there. Some story/guide or any point of interest would be fair. Whatever info is there is outside as well. Felt completely deceived when stepped inside the entrance curtain. As support for maintenance, the fee is ok. Don’t mind. It is the disappointment of expectation that gets you a bit.

Less show off than its neighbor, San Cataldo is a beauty of simplicity and architecture - both inside and outside.

Interesting outside, with the red domes on top, inside it is bare, except for the ornate floor. Next door to the contrasting Byzantine-Norman Martorana Church.

This is a must see in Palermo. Is a special church with an interesting story and atmosphere inside, very simple and very impressive.
