Less show off than its neighbor, San Cataldo is a beauty of simplicity and architecture - both inside and outside.

Interesting outside, with the red domes on top, inside it is bare, except for the ornate floor. Next door to the contrasting Byzantine-Norman Martorana Church.

Not such a big church but worth popping in for 15 minutes, next to bigger church, but the age of this one is what makes it special
