This hotel is exactly what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Friendly staff, nice little breakfast in the morning, and clean rooms.
We only stayed at the hotel for one night (we were in Catania for a day), and the hotel was in the middle of a street market. Thankfully, the market didn't run all night, so the night was quiet, but it does get busy around 5am-6am, so be forewarned if you plan to sleep in while staying at this hotel.
The rooms were comfortable, one queen bed, a TV, a bathroom. The colours of the room were a bit drab and washed so it certainly didn't add to the ambience. The shower was a bit odd (there was no "rim" around the base so its easy to get the floor wet). But other than that, the room was ok. On a plus note, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was alright.
In short - for the price (budget), it's a decent 3-star hotel for a short stay. While it may not compare with some other "budget" places (especially B&Bs we've stayed at in the area), but if you're in Catania for a night it will do.
tip: On a side note, if you are planning on taking the Airport Shuttle back to the Airport from the hotel. The stop is across the street, it costs 4 euros and comes every 20 minutes.
