we arrived at lampianu in the morning time and no one was around...the beach is not easy to find, because the road which leads to the small parking place is unsurfaced, narrow and steep.
the navigation dates are: N 40° 48' ,725 O 08° 11' ,268
the beach itself is hidden in the rough steepcoast of this area...has multicoloured sand in different sizes and is mixed up with mussles and shells...a fact, which we didn´t found very often in sardegna...shells and mussles are rare on sardegnan beaches normally.
in the back of lampianu high cliffs are located and also high cliffs build the north and southend of the small beach, which is reachable over a big wooden steep stair.
during our stay there no person arrived at lampianu and we had the immpressing atmosphere of this lonely place for us alone. specially during sunset lampianu is a extraordinary place, because the sun sinks uninterrupted in the sea.
the beach section is further interrupt by stones and rocks and the waves could be higher than on other beaches, which are located more secure in the landscape.
we had a great time at lampianu and we can recomment specially for people who love lonelyness or romantic...people who love to watch the sunset...and naturelovers who will find original and untouched nature of sardegna. perfect to let dangle the soul.

Not easy to reach so rarely visited and ideal for those who do not like crowded places. The beach has sand and black rocks and is surrounded by a wild and solitary scenario. The emerald green sea has a seabed characterized by pebbles and rocks; great place for swimming and snorkeling; aqua shoes are recommended: bar and other facilities not available. In order to reach the beach put the following coordinates in your GPS unit 40th 46'43.5''N ; 8th 11'15.9'' E or take the route SP 57 from “Pozzo San Nicola” to “Biancareddu” then turn right towards “Villagio Nurra” and ask for information. A large parking is available and the access to the beach is facilitated by a flight of steps .
