So I'll start with the fact that I travel a lot and stay in different sorts of hotels in various different countries every month. But this...

1) The hotel is super old school style and everything in the hotel (including elevators, rooms, floors, furniture and even staff) is very old as well. Basically it is a time machine back to the 80's.
2) Location is far from the best - it is far from the beach as well as from the city centre
3) The wifi hardly worked on any device we had
4)The story starts here, bare with me! Me and my husband stayed in a double room and when we decided to go to sleep and unfolded bed covers, we realised that someone had already slept in that bed, it was obvious from bed sheet color and the remainings of sand and hair on it. It was shocking, we went to the reception, where staff member pretended he did not speak English and understood nothing at all (even though I heard him speak English earlier that night). Nevertheless after trying to explain the situation through google translate the guy refused to go to the room and see the bed for himself, instead he offered another room and gave us the key. Surprise surprise, bed situation in a new room was the same. The room itself looked clean and ready for new guests, but with sand and hair all over the bed. Only 3'rd room we changed was ok.
5) I forgot my sunglasses in the room when we checked out and called the next day to ask if they found them. As I expected the answer was "no we don't know anything".

To sum up, thanks God we only booked 1 night in this hotel and it was shocking and terrible. I will never ever stay there again

I stayed at this hotel with my Fiance, my son and his girlfriend. Firstly, despite some reviews saying the staff were miserable and unhelpful, can I just say that I did not find this to be the case at all. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious and spotless with really good air conditioning. We had a lovely big balcony as did my son in the room next door, however there was no patio furniture on either of our balconies. I spoke to reception and asked if we could have tables and chairs for our balconies and within an hour or so, plastic patio sets had been provided on both the balconies. My only slight gripe about the room is that the bed was on the firm side, but it was manageable, a slighter softer mattress would have been preferable. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and stunning views from the top floor restaurant. The coffee machine made excellent coffee and there was a good choice of different types. The hotel pool was also lovely and well kept. There was not a great deal of sun loungers around the pool, but the four of us always managed to get one, although I don't know if this would be the case if you were staying here during school holidays. The bar/cafe by the pool was nice and served a good selection of drinks and snacks. The only real negative is that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The town is about 25 mins walk one way and Poetto beach is 30-40 mins walk the other way and in blazing temperatures of over 30 degrees it is not a pleasant walk during the day. We solved this by going to the Tabac shop near the hotel and purchasing a weekly travel card and we hopped on and off buses both to town and the beach. The bus service is good, frequent and reliable. There are no real supermarkets right by the hotel or restaurants, everything is a good walk away. We did find one restaurant, Pipers not far from the hotel and we had two really nice meals there. We didn't try the hotel for evening dinner, but I think it would probably be nice. We caught the bus to Cagliari and ate in the many restaurants in the old town and had some lovely meals. We went to Poetto beach on the bus, but be warned it was very crowded (we went in July) and unless you go on the public part of the beach, you will need to rent a sunbed and brolly, which we did on 2 occasions. The beach is awash with "lookey lookey" men trying to sell you stuff, which was a bit of a pain. The sea was lovely though, really warm and despite the beach being crowded, we did enjoy our time there. We went on a day trip to Chia, which was about an hour away (caught a coach from the bus station in Cagliari) and the beach here was less crowded and absolutely beautiful, white sand and turquoise sea. All in all we had a lovely holiday, we are just used to things being a bit more on our doorstep, but all in all Sardinia is beautiful and well worth a visit. My son and his girlfriend liked the shops in Cagliari (we preferred to laze by the pool!) and they also went to the Cathederal and checked out the luxury yachts coming in and out of the port. I hope this review has provided a flavour of the area/hotel as some of the reviews for this hotel were in my opinion, unfairly negative.

We spent 4 nights here, which may have been 1 too many.
Nice basic hotel, comfortable bed acceptable bathroom, noisy air con!
Nice pool, pleasant front of house staff, great bar staff.
Probably a mile and a half out of town - that's a long way at 33-34 degrees.
Bars great during the day but shuts promptly at 11 not good if you want a cooling drink after that walk back from town!
Didn't feel any worries on walking by the way.
would I stay again? If it was half a mile nearer certainly as it is possibly.
Great views from the restaurant on the 8th floor.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a balcony the 05 and 15's don't

We recently held company meetings at the hotel with 70+ people from several countries and languages. Many moving parts and tight schedules. The Management and staff handled our stay and all of our requests with superior service. Marcelo and Rosela handled our group with absolute care and professionalism that is rarely seen in other European locations. We have been to many hotels in many countries for our meetings, and this was by far the best. Highly recommend for your business meetings. We will be back.

It’s always hard to write a bad review but this is my experience. First off, the Staff and management are great. Super nice people, very friendly and they all seem to enjoy the work and are very authentic. That’s a big deal, but the rest of the hotel is two star so that’s the rating i give it.

Super basic rooms. No extra locks on the doors. Door knob is a press button not a twist. It’s like from some old school mobile home. Weird.

The tile floors are decades old style motel 6 variants. It’s hideous. Basic everything. And the location is not in a pretty place. Industrial park views (yes there is ocean past that) or hillside business and home view.

There is a track (field and track) next door so two out of three days there were blaring announcements for a few hours and today a marching band bonus. Ug.

The restaurant is ok. Just ok. The meeting room AC broke and the WiFi is really bad. Most of the time is does not work. That’s a serious problem for work.

Management cannot fix most of these issues, so i admit i did not go to them on most of these issues. I did discuss the WiFi and AC but they can’t do much about that either.

Again the staff are really nice. They make it tolerable. I feel bad writing this as i am still here, but it is all true. The rate was low so that counts for something. And the laundry service is fast and well done. There are a fair amount of people here on holiday who seem to be happy. So maybe it’s just me.
