Been here twice, first time it was around 5 yrs ago when they had just opened, last time a couple of months ago... The quality of the food is far superior to any other fake chink sushi restaurants that I've tried all over Italy... The main problem here is the price, not because I don't want to spend money for quality, but you can't say that the price range is about 10-25 euros because it's way over that, at least double it. I've tried sushi all over the world, in places where fresh fish and japanese tradition go hand in hand (Peru, NY, Cali). but never had to pay such high prices for such small portions, expect your average "french" serving size...
Service was excellent, the place is clean and cozy, quality and freshness very high. i would definitely go a couple of times a month if it was cheaper... for now I'll resort to making my own sushi...

As an American (who LOVES sushi) living in Italy, it can be hard to find restaurants that don't serve the typical Italian dishes, but Sometimes Sushi is a real sushi restaurant tucked away in Foggia and I am so glad we found it! The inside is decorated in traditional Japanese decor, which is a refreshing departure from the typical local restaurants. The menu is written partially in Japanese (like most sushi menus) so as long as you understand the Japanese words on sushi menus, you'll be fine if you don't speak Italian.
They were out of tuna and shrimp when we were there, which I hope is an indication of the freshness of the seafood. We had salmon, eel, and crab in our rolls and we enjoyed them :) the pieces are rather large and can be quite a task to chew, but they taste great. The only negative was the rolls with cream cheese had too much cream cheese in them, which could be overpowering. I prefer my sushi cut into smaller pieces, but that did not deter me from enjoying the meal. We also had miso soup, which was good. There was sake on the menu as well as tempura and edamame... So nice seeing familiar foods! Overall we enjoyed the meal and we look forward to going back and trying the tuna and shrimp!
