We were looking for a place with grass near the ocean so that our baby boy could play and crawl around. The spot they gave us below the trees was perfect for that. The price however was too high: 40 euros for two sunbeds under a tree - and if you want to shower, you have to pay extra. You can order from where you sit, but I wouldn‘t. We and our friends received half of the orders after more than one hour and only after asking again. I suggest you pick up your food yourself. You‘re officially not even aloud to bring your own water. Really? The next time, we choose another beach.

We booked this beach club through our Masseria for a day in early July. We were trying out several beach clubs in the area and this one was our favorite. We just loved the laid back atmosphere here. We secured front row loungers and umbrella (including towels) but do note that the loungers here are on an elevated, grassy area above the sea. You need to descend a staircase to get to the beach but we did not mind that at all. The beach here is nice and wide with stunning clear blue water and lovely views up the coast. We especially enjoyed the restaurant here which has tables scattered throughout shaded grassy areas and under open air pavilions. The vibe is very rustic chic and the food was really delicious. We had some of the best grilled octopus of our two week trip to Italy! There was a mix of families and couples here and it was the perfect beach day.

we went there for one day. Very italian atmosphere and people was cool as well. But only one day.. after you can visit other beaches. Water was clean and warm. We went at week day, so, not many people around and it was great for that.

From the cruise port to the beach took a hour of highway driving through industrialized Italy and highways. The bus parked and we took a tram that dropped us at the beach. The beach itself was fine. It cost 10 Euro to rent a chair under an umbrella. As far as excursions go this could be one to pass up.
