The rooms are very clean and have all the amenities. We were lucky to get 2 rooms with private bathrooms, but not all the rooms have this luxury. The breakfast includes croissants with chocolate filling, toast type biscuits with butter and jam, or pound cake. There is also abundant coffee, juice, yogurt and a water cooler for you to fill your water bottle as frequently as you like.
Mimmo the host is an extremely generous spirit. He drove us into the heart of Bari when we asked for a restaurant recommendation. He also drove us to the train station when our stay was over. He's just a wonderful person. He really does not speak English but he has an app for translating, so all was good!
As far as location, you need to know that this is on the very edge of Bari, in the residential area. It's off the beaten track, so to speak. You will have to take a taxi or a bus into the main town, as it's 2 or 3 miles away. We took the radio taxi in every day, at least once. Also, half of the rooms are facing a major highway, so it's EXTREMELY noisy. When you shut the windows the sound is almost completely gone..... Then you have to turn on the air conditioner because the beautiful night breeze is gone. The air conditioner is VERY loud. It was fine though, because the hum of the air conditioner actually afforded us the best sleep we had in all of our travels!
This B & B is the cheapest you will find and if you don't mind the taxi fares (around $10 one way), it's a good choice.
