We went here on a walking food tour with Food Tours of Venice, the Rialto Food Tour, which took us only to authentic spots where the locals eat and shop - and we were not disappointed with this stop! Such amazing cheeses, olives, salumi, wines - this is a terrific shop, definitely come here!

We had a bit of trouble trying to find this lovely deli near the Rialto bridge but were so glad that we persevered and eventually found it. The place sits neatly within a nice square near the Rialto looks so clean and inviting with a mouth watering array of cheeses and meats beautifully displayed. I opted for a kilo of parmesan which was usefully divided into 2 and vacuum packed for the journey home and I couldn't resist adding half a kilo of gorgonzola which was also vacuum packed. Pleased with my purchases, we topped off the morning with a couple of drinks and chicchetti at the hole in the wall bar next door where the wine was 1.50 a glass and the snacks about 1 euro each - a great way to "do" lunch on a budget in Venice.

We stumbled across this shop by accident, in a side square just off the main walk to/from the Rialto bridge. We wandered in and asked if we could get a selection of cheese and meats as well as sundried tomatoes - it was AMAZING, and good value, 6.60€ to be precise!

There is a hole in the wall wine bar next door where you can double up and have a wine for 2€ as well!

Saw this place by accident as it was beside another hole in the wall wine bar which I discovered by accident.
Live this place. The people behind the counter were very friendly and helpful! Excellent selection of cheeses and cold cuts. Give them a budget and they will make a platter for you which u can eat with wine.
