The place has a really nice vibe, the guests are a mix of local and tourists ( locals usually eat later so if you go around 19:00 it's mostly going to be tourists), the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very good, the tiramisu is very creamy, maybe everything just slightly overpriced. But it's probably one of the better places in Venice if you want to escape the tourist nightmare.

Arrived late in Venice, so just wandered to most convenient restaurant for dinner, fortunately we came upon this place. Authentic with a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff.
Pleasant service, polite and not pushy.
We were invited to take a starter because the main course that we ordered (suckling pig) would not be ready for some time.
We chose hummus with chickpeas - an interesting change. The main course was delicious, served with creamed potatoes and cabbage cooked in totally different manner.
A thoroughly enjoyable meal. Prices were very reasonable too.
Will definitely return when back in the city.

We were exhausted after a long journey and this was the first restaurant we came across. Ok, not the best reason to choose a place but really all we wanted to do was eat and go to bed.
The first impression was amazing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Water was brought to our table without having to ask along with some amuse-bouche that were lovely. We ordered a starter to share and we both had the suckling pig with creamed potato and the most amazing cabbage I've ever eaten (really!).
The prices were incredibly reasonable. We felt like we'd had five star food and service at two star prices and you can't really get better than that!

We had a really special meal at this little place in Venice. It’s quite cosy and sophisticated and never gets too busy, but you do need to book in advance. We had one vegetarian meal (antipasto and main) and one fish meal. We were pleasantly surprised by how flavoursome all the dishes were, from the vegetarian pasta bake to the grilled scallops with a cream of chocolate and ginger (amazingly good!). I would recommend this place to anyone who’d like to try new flavours and appreciates high quality food and wine. Do book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment !

We had our last dinner in Venice here after a lot of research as I am Coeliac and needed to be sure I could eat here and this came up in the top ten, we were so happy we found this restaurant ,a fifteen minute walk away from our hotel in Carnereggio - this was exactly what we were looking for in a restaurant, very stylish and cool interior - great knowledge of local wines and food, felt hip and cool - was very impressed with staff speaking in Japanese to customers - amazing food and wine - just lovely. Thank you
