We had our favorite meal in Venice at this small and special restaurant. My husband and I were on a quest to avoid touristy eateries, so this incredibly authentic, fresh spot was a true treat. With only six tables, be sure to make reservations if you want a sit down meal, but the cicchetti at the bar looked fabulous, so I’d recommend coming by no matter what. Menus for food and wine are written on blackboards. Our wonderful server, Kika, helped us select a burrata starter with delicious tomatoes and peppers, the pasta with a wild boar sauce, and my ABSOLUTE favorite, the seafood lasagna. This last item didn’t sound appetizing at first, but it sticks out as one of the tastiest things I ate during our two week trip (and we ate LOTS of wonderful things!). We wrapped up this delightful meal with panna cotta and a tort. YUM!
