We had our favorite meal in Venice at this small and special restaurant. My husband and I were on a quest to avoid touristy eateries, so this incredibly authentic, fresh spot was a true treat. With only six tables, be sure to make reservations if you want a sit down meal, but the cicchetti at the bar looked fabulous, so I’d recommend coming by no matter what. Menus for food and wine are written on blackboards. Our wonderful server, Kika, helped us select a burrata starter with delicious tomatoes and peppers, the pasta with a wild boar sauce, and my ABSOLUTE favorite, the seafood lasagna. This last item didn’t sound appetizing at first, but it sticks out as one of the tastiest things I ate during our two week trip (and we ate LOTS of wonderful things!). We wrapped up this delightful meal with panna cotta and a tort. YUM!

Cicheti (venetian tapa) bar, with small 20 seat restaurant inside (require reservations). Restaurant meals are on a chalk board (change daily). We ate dinner once, pasta dishes were above average, and large portions. Mostly we ate venetian style, where you order from the congested counter from the glassed in display case; open faced crostini, small sandwiches and assorted dishes (lasagna, fried seafood, etc.). House wine was good, small selection of beer on tap. Prices very reasonable, hence always seemed busy. This type of establishment is frequented by locals, as it is an inexpensive quick meal on the go. Limited seating outside, just a couple of tables and one stand up wine barrel.

Delightful little place. Very intimate setting and menu is written on the board. There were four of us and we tried many items. They were accommodating and brought extra plates as some of us ordered first (pasta) dishes as our main while others ordered multiple courses. Everyone was very welcoming and we stayed a long time as it felt like a family meal. I highly recommend as food was delicious and prices were reasonable.

Homemade and very good food- classic tapas to go, limited wines but some nice local options; If you want a table, reserve in advance- but they have limited outdoor tables to have some wine with the great appetizers!
