Hotel Rovere is a charming little hotel that caters for everyone. We had a family room upstairs for 5, 2 double beds and a single, the single and one double were sofa beds but very comfortable. The staff are friendly and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Abundant breakfast choices, you can’t eat it all! Cappuccinos and lattes served at breakfast is a pleasant treat. I am wheat and dairy free and was delighted with my decaf soya cappuccino! Thank you Hotel Rovere for a very pleasant stay.

We loved the place. Huge new, clean room with large modern bathroom and an enclosed balcony. The pizza place across the street is excellent and the gelataria downstairs is great too. We used the hotel for our base for going to Venice.
Buy bus tickets from the front desk and the number 1 bus will take you to the station in treviso. Then it’s an easy trip to Venice for the day.
Did I say we loved Treviso. Great understated town with lots of history and none of the crazy crowds of Venice.
One slight negative was the WiFi in our room was almost nonexistent

Dear Douglas,
thank You very much for Your lovely comment!
Thank You for sharing with TripAdvisor community Your experience and for all the tips on Treviso and Venice!
We weren't aware that You had some problems with the wifi connection, otherwise we would have surely tried to fix it.
We are very pleased that You loved Your stay here anyway, and we really hope to host You again once more!

Thank you once again!

Stayed here for four nights recently.
As others have mentioned the hotel is based outside of the main town but is easily accessible by the number 1 bus which run every 15 minutes up until about 8:30pm. The room was a nice size and was cleaned every day we were there.
All of the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much for them.
Treviso itself is very nice and although we spent our days in Venice we ate out every night in Treviso and never had a bad meal.
Getting to Venice is also very easy with trains running to Santa Lucia on a regular basis ( 13:80 euros return for the both of us ) .
This is our third trip to Italy and have sometimes found the locals could be a bit stand-offish ( unless they were taking money off you ) , however in both Treviso and Venice we found everybody was very friendly and engaging.

We stayed here in Sept / October.2017 A clean and friendly Hotel. Quite a walk from the walled centre of Treviso but not a problem, and frequent busses if you prefer. The 2 girls running the front desk and breakfast were very helpfull and spoke good English, sold us bus tickets and advised on trains and timing etc. Buffet breakfast was mare than adequate + good coffee and pastries. We sat out on the balcony of the restaurant, perfect. Bedrooms were clean and secure with access to the balcony and a free safe provided. There is a cafe / bar attached next door, part of the same ownership I think, very good for a coffee, snack or light meal. We called in for Galletia ice creams a couple of times. Also a very good pizza restaurant 3 doors up the street. Better than many in Venice itself. We got the train into Venice each morning early and back late. It was very easy to access Treviso Airport from here for the Ryanair flight home. Would definately return. Triviso itself is a lovely City to visit with some nice bars and restaurants.

Room tip: A balcony is fun

We were lucky enough to stay a couple of nights at the Rovere en route to Venice and we’re glad we did!

The staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast on the terrace was lovely.

We’d recommend to anyone to choose this little boutique hotel if you’re looking for a trip to Treviso the home of Prosecco!
