This is a lovely hotel at the top of Aosta. We were a family group of 11 skiing in Pila. Well appointed spacious bedrooms with fabulous views. Great breakfast. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner but happy to allow pizza delivery and to recommend local restaurants. The staff were exceptional in their helpfulness and friendliness. We would definitely go back.

One advantage: The breakfast is both delicious and varied, and can is consumed in a relaxing environment. The goodness of this overpriced hotel stops there. There were five problems. First, although the hotel was only one kilometer from the town, the walk was difficult (all downhill going to the town, all uphill returning to the hotel) and no shuttle service existed. (We are youngish and in very good shape). The 10 euro trip (one way) to town or the ski slopes added an additional expense daily. This is unacceptable for this level of hotel. Second, an electrical outlet did not work in the hotel room, and although reported on the second day, it was never repaired. No reason was given. No change of room with functioning outlets was offered. Third, the jacuzzi did not function for one day. No note was made, no attempt to reimburse nor even apologize was made. And fourth, although a British tea was served in the afternoon, there is no restaurant, or even a cafe for food in the evening. One must either plan a take-out meal from the town (which the staff will happily help with the table setting) once back in the hotel, or eat in the town each night. Heat in the room was barely acceptable for a winter stay. All in all, a very disappointing experience from this very experienced traveler.

We had a lovely few days at the HotelMilleluci. Very friendly, helpful staff with excellent English. Clean, spacious rooms. We had a family room that comfortably slept 4, although had little storage for that number of people.

Breakfast was tasty with good service. No restaurant service but, if walking downhill to a restaurant doesn’t appeal, the local takeaway will deliver to the hotel and staff were happy to set tables in the dining room for us.

20 min walk or €10 taxi to the gondola for skiing in Pila.

Romantic, rustic lovely hotel! Lovely mountain wood panelled hotel in classic chalet style. Fabulous continental breakfast with fresh coffee and eggs anyway you want. Nice pool area. Stunning views and just ten minutes walk to town. Only things missing are a restaurant and bar.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, best thing about this hotel is: facilities and breakfast.
Swimming pool and hot tub are great and the view from there is fantastic. SPA is good as well, with dry and wet sauna, multiple showers, whirlpool bath, etc...opened until late. I also booked a massage and the man was very good, not 100pc sure but I think I paid 50 for 1 hour.
Breakfast is the best I had on my holiday, there is basically everything. All the sweets and cakes are home made and are available the whole day in the main room. We used to enjoy a piece of chocolate cake and tea in the terrace after a day of activities which was great.
Ample parking, both surface and underground.
Place is on top of a steep hill, ok to walk to the town center for us but definitely not feasible for older people.
One negative comment: room (at least mine) did not have air conditioning. This needs to be fixed ASAP, considering that this is supposed to be a 4* hotel. One night it got very hot, even with windows opened I was barely able to sleep.

Room Tip: Great view, big swimming pool, no air conditioning
