A friendly vibe, bright and clean restaurant space. We went to enjoy the local fontina cheese, which is rumored to have been created in this small town in northern Italy. We ordered the polenta with hot molten fontina cheese placed in the middle of perfect polenta. Absolutely excellent.

We stopped here for lunch on our trip to Aosta. Conveniently located close to the city center. We had a great lunch. The bresaola with burrata was absolutely too die for. The polenta dish was quite large portion the cappelletti was on the smaller size.
Everything was lovely and the service was perfect.

The wait staff was very friendly and they switched up so that a waiter that spoke English helped our table. He suggested an excellent local wine ($22 euros per bottle) which worked well with our three courses. My wife and I used the Rick Steve's suggestion of splitting each course. We started with the cabbage and blue cheese salad followed by escalope, and finished with rabbit. Along with the bread, it was plenty of food (and wine for us). It was too cold to eat outside, so we sat indoors, but the restaurant is on the main walking street (no cars).

The food here is OK, but seemed overpriced. It was in a premiere position on the main pedestrian street though. Service was good and prompt.

This was a perfect place for our first night in Aosta. The restaurant was a few minutes walk from our Airbnb. The food was outstanding. We chose dishes from the local traditions menu. Creative polenta dishes, tender beef, great goat cheese salad that we shared and a good wine list. Very reasonably priced and good service.
