I booked a trip for a trek up the Alpe Sattal. I started from Milan, in the morning by train to the station of Arona.
Here I met Marco e Sabrina who brought me up to Alagna car. (about 1.5 hours by road). Same way to go back.
L'Alpe Sattal is the home of Mr. Giuseppe a man a bit 'philosopher who decided to live alone on a mountain. The cottage is beautiful, stone externally and wood inside. We had lunch together and we talked about many topics.
The trek for me it was too easy, only two hours walk to go up, three hours for lunch and relaxation and 2 hours to walk down.
I thought it was more challenging, Next time I want a longer trek, minimum of two days.
Monte Rosa is very different from the Alps near Lake Como, here are real mountains, near Como seem hills.
See you next time
