On the face of it this church is mostly bare plaster inside. It is small and the murals and statues aren’t great. There was a choir practising which was nice. However, the best bit is behind a barred gate with a cost of €2. Pay the fee and you’ll be treated to saintly remains and beautiful 4th century massive remains. Well worth the money.

Very nice church. It was originally built in the Roman era and had restorations and rebuildings ever since. It has gained new architecture over the years such as the facade or dome. Inside is quite cavernous over the main aisle towards the altar. Much quieter than the Duomo and close to Sant'Eustorgio.

Saint Aquilino chapel is a must see! Don’t miss the basement. But be aware no access during the service.
