This was my first time to Milan. I booked here because it looked close to things. Which it was, it was about 30 mins to anywhere we wanted to explore (cafes, malls, sights, etc).

Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment, which was actually huge amount of space. Nice lounge room and different bedroom. All had individual air conditioners. I think I must have been upgraded because I didn't remember booking an apartment but was happen to stay there!

Real 4 stars, from the stuff, ambient, position of the hotel, cleanness, comfort, quiet, service, everything is excellent 5! The position of the hotel, is on the middle between Duomo and Naviglio Grande canal, walking about 20min in both sides! Very quiet neighborhood and nice connected with all spots! Tram 14 or metro M2! Perfect!!! All the best

Good quality hotel a mile from the major tourist spots in the old part of Milan. Quality room, quiet, friendly staff and great breakfast. We walked to all the major attractions, although the underground is next to the hotel if you prefer. There is quite a nice park nearby and plenty of restaurant options within a 10 minute walk.

We stayed for three nights in an executive room.

The location of this hotel is ideal. It is situated in an area worth exploring in its own right, particularly the nearby Navigli canals but is also not too far from the city centre (by tram or metro).

The room was clean, well-appointed and quiet although sadly the A/C did not work. On asking the hotel staff they explained that as the weather was cooler now it had been turned off. This seems the norm for Mercure hotels but as the daytime temperatures were still in the low 20s it made for some unnecessarily uncomfortable nights.

The bathroom facilities were excellent.

We didn't dine in the restaurant/drink in the bar so can't comment.

Tip - there are numerous nice cafes in the local area so if, like us, you don't fancy the expensive hotel breakfast, try one of these!

Summary - Great location, nice room but too hot!
