Hotel Canada is a small hotel but that is normal in Europe. This hotel is very clean. We had a twin room which was very comfortable. We had a mini bar stocked with juices, water, and soda, free for the taking!
The breakfast room is locating in the lower level of hotel. There is a variety of breakfast items such as scramble eggs, bacon, pastries, cheeses, yoghurt, lattes, cappuccino, expresso etc.
The hotel staff are very helpful, professional, always cheerful!

We were in Milan for only 24 hours, so in order to see all the landmarks in such a short time, we decided to take the Hop on Hop off tour. The hotel arranged this tour for us for 25euros.
If you have more time in Milan then one can use the Metro system to get around.. far cheaper! The Crocetta (the yellow line) is the closest Metro stop to the hotel. The Metro is very simple and easy to get around. It takes about 5 minutes walk from Crocetta stop to the hotel.

My only complaint is that safe in our room didn't work! The front staff tried to fix it but couldn't. Their maintenance person was not on duty during the weekend. They offered to place my valuables in the hotel's safe.
Overall, I will stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is situated less then 10 minutes, or 2 stops by yellow line metro or tram 16 or 24. The stuff is extremely polite, kind and helpful; in other words the hospitality is perfect!! The rooms are spacious, the bathroom and it's amenities are very good. The rooms have a good air condition and a huge safe.
The breakfast is very basic, with no fresh vegetables or fruits. and if u do not come early enough many products, like croissant for example, run out.
The hotel has no lobby.
To summarize this hotel is highly recommended as a 3 stars hotel because of its location, service and rooms. I would rate it 4 stars if it had a lobby and the breakfast would add some variety.

It might seem a little bit away from the center, but really it's in walking distance to the historic sites like the Duomo. The facade of the hotel is unassuming but the rooms are very nice. The front desk staff, in particular Mateo, were very friendly and helpful. Mateo recommended a great restaurant nearby, L'Isola Del Tesoro, when we were too tired to walk very far that night. We were able to get around town from the hotel by walking and on the metro from the nearby station.

We have now stayed three different time at Canada Hotel. Once two years ago and at the beginning and end of our last trip. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and there is a good shower, (very important when jet-lagged) It is easy to get to from public transportation. We use the trains and the metro and it is not to bad to roll luggage to and from. They have a good breakfast with hot and cold items, and yummy pastries. There are places for quick bite nearby, pizza, gelato, and pastries.

The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside and the views from the room are not particularly inspiring, however once inside we could not fault this hotel. The price was very reasonable and the room was well sized and clean, with air conditioning and a good bathroom. A nice touch was the free fruit basket and complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar.

Breakfast was a typical continental affair with good coffee and friendly staff. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the duomo, or 5 minutes on the M3 metro (also good to get to the train stations if required).
