The apartment is spacious, shady and well located - near the lido and cable car, and a fifteen minute walk into town. However, it has some downsides. The basement rooms are damp and sparse, and the single bed so squeaky that my daughter spent a fortnight sleeping on a mattress on the floor. The kitchen is a bit randomly equipped, for example there are only two spreading knives. It was OK for four of us, but I think you would struggle with six. British travellers should note that like many apartments in Europe there is no kettle. The garden is large, but unkempt and a haven for mosquitoes - there seemed to be more here than in other places locally. We had a great holiday here, but I wouldn't rent it again.
