We dropped into this place last night after finding it on TripAdvisor. It is down one side of Bank Italia on a quiet street so doesn’t get much passing trade. Most of the tables are across the small street along the wall of the bank.
Starter specialty is hams, salami and other pork products. The owner/chef comes from near Parma so ham is a natural fit. We loved it, 9 different types of meat to try.
My wife had lasagne for main and I had the gnocchi with Gorgonzola and both were delicious.
Finished with an almond biscuity sweet for desert.
Three glasses of vino each and the bill was €62.50. Really good value, simple, filling and tasty.
Very nice young man who runs the place.
Check it out.

Thank Andrew B

It was a dissapointment cause reviews jas beenthat great. Anyway we ate just basic lasagne but it lacked taste. Staff was friendly and the place was nice and quiet.

Was looking for somewhere local to my hotel and after seeing the good reviews I popped by here for dinner. Wasn’t disappointed! Lovely quiet restaurant tucked down a side street. Lasagne was melt in the mouth, would definitely recommend! Good value food and service was great.

A tip: don’t be concerned if there aren’t any other customers when you get there! I turned up at 7pm as their first customer, just after they’d opened, but within 10 minutes there were 4 other tables seated, and a nice atmosphere :)

It’s a wonderful place to have lunch or dinner, we enjoyed the food and the service. Food was really tasty and home-like, the atmosphere is great thanks to the only member of staff.

This is a wonderful little restuarant that specializes in very good local charcuterie. It's located on a quiet side street. There are just a few tables inside and five or six 2-tops on the sidewalk. The meat and cheese plates are menu fixtures with pasta specials changing daily. The owner ("King of the Pig Sty") was very friendly. He took our order and served us. The food is delicious and well prepared. Well worth a visit!
