We stayed here for 4 nights in June and had a wonderful time. What sets this B&B apart are the small touches - welcome drink with Rosalba when we arrived, wonderfully modern and equipped rooms, amazing breakfasts with homemade goodies every day, free drinks (juices/water/ice) throughout the day and a place that embraces children (we were with a 4 year old and he was made thoroughly welcome). We felt we were in a boutique hotel. The location is great for La Spezia and surrounding area and sat up in the hills is extremely quiet. The pool area is beautiful with a great view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend the Amaranta room which has a large balcony with a great view!
Grazie mille Rosalba and family

Room Tip: Amaranta was perfect with a wonderful balcony

This place is wonderful, a real hidden gem! Made me think of Jason Bournes tranquillity in:) Rosalba made us feel so welcome, and was most helpful the entire stay. The place has a great pool area, a real soul, and one of la spezias best views. Breakfast was also very good. Thank you Rosalba!

A friend and I recently stayed at this delightful B and B. Surrounded by a beautiful garden with many flowering succulents; relaxing poolside after a day exploring the Cinque Terre is a delight. Rosalba the owner and her husband prepare a sumptuous breakfast each morning and lovingly prepare your cappuccino.
On our arrival we were greeted by Rosalba with a glass of wine and a light snack and she proceeded to give us local maps and good advice about restaurants in La Spezia (prepare to dine late at the nicer establishments). Our room was clean and well appointed and we had a delightful stay overlooking the Bay of Poets and La Spezia. Would definitely stay there again.

we loved our stay in villa amaranta. nice view, delicious breakfast, kind hosts. you have privacy and can enjoy evening by the pool, drink a bottle of wine you bring etc. You need a car to get there however, villa is on a hill 15 minutes from center by car.
