As many have noted, this hotel is close to Piazza Principe station, so great for train travelers. In ten minutes you will literally be not at the station, but on the train itself.
It is just few steps from the vibrant Via Balbi, in a lane af the ancient city, but not in contact with degraded parts of it. The entrance is nice, as is the adjacent breakfast room.
The breakfast itself is fit to an Italian 3 star
The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but clean, spacious and efficient. Our room was on an inner courtyard, so it was very quiet.
Price for two nights, 150 euro (plus tourist tax).
All in all, I could go back to this hotel.

This was quite friendly, especially the breakfast service and the room was OK. Lifts were small and rickety but it was satisfactory for one night. Very close to the railway station. Not much in the vicinity for eating but a short walk downhill to the harbour area.

We were greeted by a very unfriendly receptionist, so bored as if we were begging for her service.
The rooms were old and so are the facilities. It was noisy outside.
If you book a room with breakfast, better not. Eat outside, there arevnearby cafes who will offer you a better coffee.

Nothing snazzy but clean, comfortable and rooms facing to courtyard are quiet. Friendly staff. Near train station where the airport bus also stops. Walk to centre is about 20 mins. Streets around hotel well lit and felt safe. No English TV but this is less a hotel to relax in and more just to sleep

Terrible hotel, not worth €75 per night . The bed was small and was so uncomfortable. The decor in the room was from the 1970s. My advice is pay a little bit more to at least get a good nights sleep .
