We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our tour of Italy. Delighted to say that the hotel absolutely delivered In terms of service and style. We got a fantastic out of season deal and a free upgrade. Very happy indeed.

Room Tip: Balcony rooms preferable

We stayed here for 1 night at the end of a trip to Italy.
Despite arriving early, around 12 they were able to have a room ready for us with 15 mins, and a free upgrade as well.
The room was delightful. Beautiful high ceilings, a very comfortable bed and pillows. It had all the facilities you would want, including tea and coffee making facilities and a safe. There were also great views of the park from the windows.
The bathroom was very modern and spacious with a powerful shower and all the toiletries you would need.
The provide a turndown service as well as complimentary welcome drinks on their terrace.
We didn't have breakfast.
Highly recommend.

We stay two night at the hotel and had a nice experience.
The room were lovely and big, very closed of the restaurant and nice little local bars.
maybe we were lucky but the price was very good for the quality of our room and our two massive balcony with a fantastic view !!!

Room Tip: The one with the Balcon

We spent two nights at this elegant and comfortable Hotel. We had a standard room which overlooked the main street, it had a queen size bed which was very comfortable, air conditioning, spacious bathroom with lovely rainfall shower. The ceilings were high and had beautiful paintings on them. Throughout the hotel everything was very tasteful with beautiful pictures. The breakfast salon which used to be an old theatre had a beautiful ceiling together with a dining balcony on three sides. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I would certainly recommend this Hotel. Bologna itself is a beautiful city and very easy to walk around or hire a bicycle if you wanted.

We were a party of 4 and had booked 3 rooms in June for three nights. Two members of our party booked in around 3 pm and informed the hotel that the remainder of the party was arriving very late. The hotel staff told them that this was fine. When we arrived to check in the 'night manager' informed us that there was a problem with our rooms but that he had arranged accommodation in a hotel across the road and that he would carry our luggage. Except there were no rooms across the road. He then spent the next hour phoning around. No refreshment was offered not even water nor much in the line of apology. Eventually he found two rooms in two different inferior hotels outside the city centre. I arrived in my room after 2 am. The night manager could not guarantee that we would have rooms for the remaining nights.
The next morning the management was somewhat in transigent in what it would offer for the previous night and I had to pay the cost of the hotel that I stayed in.
We rebooked to stay at the Gia Baglioni up the road where we received excellent service at a lower rate per room
I have travelled on business and pleasure for more than 30 years across the world. And this is this was the worst customer experience I have had in a hotel when something went wrong. When everything goes smoothly in a hotel customer service appears effortless, although it never is. The true test of a good hotel is how the guest feels after something has gone wrong. This hotel failed
