Taking into account that it is a 4 stars, this hotel is desapointing : Air conditionning was not working, grumpy person serving breakfast, most employee could not speak english which is ok if you donnot need to fix a problem...
Too bad because the hotel.is.localed in a very goodnplave to visit bologne and the room are nice

Although the location and room size is good the quality of services is closer to 2 stars than to 4. No refreshing of the toiletries (which were provided for one person to begin with, even thougj we were two and booked the room 3 months in advance). The room was not cleaned / attended and towels not changed. We had to ask for toiletries and thebgirl from reception was puzzled by the request. No phone in the room.

Whilst the location of the hotel is good, only a ten minute walk from the centre of Bologna, what we experienced was definitely not what we were expecting based on the photos and other information available on their website. The room was nothing like the photos, it was bland and very basic with broken blinds and a bathroom door that did not close. On our first night, we were left stood outside the hotel for 20 minutes as the receptionist had failed to give us an entry code and despite being told someone would be on reception for 24 hours, no one was available. Although there was a coffee machine in the room, there were only paper cups, one tea bag and we had to request milk. After returning to the room at the end of a day, the dirty coffee cups were still left in the room. Breakfast was also very disappointing, there were no plates when we first arrived and choice was very limited. A disappointing stay

The staff couldn't have been more helpful in directions, phoning taxis, giving information and helping when my husband was not very well.
The room was clean with good shower, just a little small but did what we wanted for a long weekend. Added exttra was a good choice of food at breakfast each morning.

As the hotel bar and spa were not available/ open during our visit we were rather disappointed. Breakfast is very good but apart from this the hotel does not offer any other facilities and so we stayed out all day ( as you would in a B and B). Noisy rooms ( traffic noise, local bars, flats upstairs) made it difficult to sleep so this is not a hotel for light sleepers - the conversion from a convent adds to this. Check what facilities are available before you book ( phone the hotel)

Room Tip: Avoid rooms overlooking the street, also rooms at the back are noisy due to flats above
