This small but charming hotel is located in a very nice area of town, just off a tree lined boulevard, only 10 minutes walk away from the main shopping area of Ancona. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and fresh towels provided every day. We stayed for 4 nights, the first night we were given a rather small room (111), but when asked if a bigger room was available, the staff in reception very politely informed us that whilst they were fully booked for that night, they would be able to move us to a larger room the following day and gave us the choice of one of two rooms, both very nice. They also informed us that we could have free room service for breakfast, as the breakfast room is rather small, can only accommodate 8 people at any one time. Breakfast selection was good, with freshly baked pastries and cakes daily, a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, jams, honey as well as cheese and cold meats.
Fruit juices, coffee, cappuccino and a selection of teas and herbal teas was also available.
Please be aware that the hotel is on the second floor of an old Palace and no lift is available, this could be an issue with carrying heavy suitcases or for people with mobility problems.
If you are travelling by car the hotel can issue a daily parking voucher for 3 euros, this works out much...This small but charming hotel is located in a very nice area of town, just off a tree lined boulevard, only 10 minutes walk away from the main shopping area of Ancona. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and we would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to friends and family too. More
