“Wonderful retreat from the busy city of Rome”
Reviewed 18 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We stayed for 7 days, including my 60th birthday, and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The apartment and Fabio were lovely. The apartment had good central heating which we needed a couple of nights, but the weather was moslty sunny every day and we even got to eat on the patio area one day even in December. On arrival Fabio spent some time with us showing everything and the information we received both beforehand and on arrival answered all our questions. The area around the apartment was quite rural and a nice place to return after stomping around busy Rome all day. With a hire car we even had a day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvious in a couple of hours. The trains into Rome were close and convenient. Couldn't wish for a better base for our stay. The only thing missing was a kettle, vital piece of equipment for the Brits. Teabags and welcome pack much appreciated.

“The Eternal City without the hassle”

Located 20 minutes by train from the centre of the city, this country house apartment is a absolute find for anyone who wants to see and experience all that Rome has to offer but doesn't want to pay the steep prices of city hotels and wants to have the option of avoiding the hassle of the city. Fabio (owner), is brilliant. Very helpful and works hard to make sure your stay is as good as it possibly can be. Settebagni (the local area) is lovely. People are friendly, there are two supermarkets and a few restaurants but not many tourists. An unlimited 7 day travel pass which is valid on the trains (very regular to and from the city and even from the city to the beach), the buses and the metro cost only 28 Euros each. My wife and I stayed for 7 days and on one day we simply relaxed in the apartment and around the beautiful country house grounds. The apartment itself was very clean and was finished to a very high standard.

We really enjoyed our time in Rome in no small part due to our accomodation.
