The reviews didn't prepare for this absolute gem of a place. Yes, it's small - I counted seating for 7 people! Great beers beautifully presented. The bread is fantastic never mind the sandwich filling which was exquisite. Situated in a narrow side street My Ale was the highlight of my stay in Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was just so great to get away from the tourist traps and rip-offs.

The sandwiches were so good my partner had two! They tasted great and were freshly prepared. There was a wide selection of great beers they even had gluten free rice beer. No air con here but cooled down after a cold beer. Ideal for a quick bite to eat at very reasonable prices.

Wide range of craft beers and artisan food. Small, friendly place well worth a visit if passing. Recommended.

Great little respite from the crowds. The beer is cold and fresh and the owners are delightful! We had the Pig Floyd and a tomato pie (which the owners happily altered with Fresh pecorino and mozzarella at my sons' request).

Probably not the ideal place for a family of four - since there are only 10 seats in the whole place, but we are so glad we went. They had a selection of locally-crafted beer.
