We had an amazing stay in this beautiful appartment, which had all of the amenities necessery to make us feel right at home. We especially loved that there were two bathrooms, which was grandly needed in the morning, being a group of four women.
The appartment was perfectly located, near the bridges to cross over the center of Rome, a few minutes walk from the Vatican, and in the beautiful neighborhood of Trastavere, which soon became a coup-de-coeur for us.
The house made our first impressions of Rome even better! We would go back anytime! :)
This beautiful appartement for 4 persons is a good place to start your visit of Rome. We never took a bus or metro. All sightseeing is in walking distance. (But bring good walkingshoes because of the little stones pavements) The bus stop is just 3 minutes away if you want to take it.
Nearby there are plenty restaurants and also minimarkt for shopping food and drinks.
From the apartment you can see part of Castle Sant Angelo and the church S.Giovanni dei Florentini. The neighborhood is save te walk, also in the evenings.
In the apartment everything you need is present. Also more than enough cupboardroom. The apartment was also very clean.
The airco/heating is very useful. We had 2 days of rain.
The explanation from Shirley and the flexible check-in and out times makes it a excellent place to come back.
Our 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment in Rome was wonderful! It was very clean and well furnished and we really liked having the washer and dryer in the apartment. It was also nice to have the A/C as our time there was very hot. Shirley was so helpful!
We were visiting our son who is studying in Rome and this apartment was a 2 minute walk from where he lives. Very quiet neighborhood.
We have already recommended this apartment to a friend. Rome can be noisy and overly busy so retiring to this apartment near the Vatican and the Tiber - gave us the best of both worlds. As a sanctuary it is well appointed and equipped and the downstairs bedroom has lovely light and views. The open plan kitchen - living space is not that large but you are not likely to be entertaining large groups of friends. We visited as a family with two teenagers and all liked the place and neighbourhood.
As you come down to the buildings facing the Tiber and turn towards Travestere and walk down the road for 10 minutes or less there are a couple of good restaurants heavily used by locals and enjoyed by us.
The apartment has 2 proper bedrooms and bathrooms so it is very comfortable. We found the location excellent as it is very quiet but still easily accessible to favourite places such as Campo Di Fiori. Rodolfo was eager to help and this was very convenient as we do not speak Italian and welcomed his assistance. We stayed for over a week in Rome and are returning to the apartment very soon.
If you want an atmospheric and comfortable stay in Rome I highly recommend this beautiful apartment with fine views over an historical area close to the Tiber River.
