I stayed here for three nights by myself after having gone to a business trip in another part of the country. I researched the hotel and emailed them a few times to which they were very cooperative and helpful – I had a lot of questions since I was staying alone and have never been to Rome before. The hotel itself is very nice, it's a boutique hotel but with all the amenities and expectations of a chain hotel – I felt very safe there and the room was very clean and quiet! There was a key card entry into the wing of the area of rooms that I stayed in and there was a receptionist on duty 24 hours. Everyone, day or night, was extremely helpful in making sure that I knew exactly where I was going and ensuring that I had the best experience. Location of the hotel was absolutely terrific – it's in the heart of the Spanish steps but is right around the corner from one of the main roads so it is quiet enough and safe enough to have the best of both worlds. There were markets and plenty of restaurants and shops to go to right in the neighborhood. All of the major attractions were within walking distance, just make sure that you have comfortable shoes! I definitely recommend this hotel, and would absolutely only consider this one to stay in again. The drinks at the hotel bar were a little pricey, but the bartender and the snacks were very good! I'd like to give an extra thanks to the staff for helping me book my tickets to the Vatican and Colosseum! Truly great service, I couldn't of asked for anything more – they've set a very high expectation! If you're looking for great service and location, look no further – this hotel meets every expectation!!

Dear katewhitton
It was a great pleasure to have our here as our special guest.
We always try to do our best to give a god service. In fact all the staff are also pleased to offer guests a Tourist Service which can provide general tourist information; arrange the hire of bicycles, cars, scooters or Segways; book guided tours with our registered tour guide; arrange tickets for museums, galleries, tourist attractions, theatre & opera shows and much more. We can even assist in booking restaurants, taxis and limousine services.
To fuel a day of exploring the wonders of Rome, we additionally offer a fantastic complimentary sweet and savoury buffet breakfast which includes hot bread, cereals, fresh fruit, homemade fruit salad, muffins, plum cakes, pies, biscuits, cookies, cheese cake, croissants and mini croissants, boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cooked ham, parma ham, salami, roasted turkey, cheese, homemade yogurts, fresh fruit juice, herbal teas and of course excellent Italian coffee
We hope that you can come back as soon as you can.

We stayed in a small room situated next to the reception - which made it noisy as one could hear the incoming guests etc.

Standard buffet breakfast.

The location is very central (not recommended in Rome) but on a relatively quiet, side street.

Bathroom is very small, not allowing a person above 170cm to shower standing straight. Toilet seat also very small and not standard in shape (round not oval).

My hubby and I (both mid-40's) stayed 2 nights at this hotel during the first leg of our 17 day European adventure. I did lots of hotel research online and searched in the area near the Spanish Steps, upon recommedation of a friend. This turned out to be the perfect spot for us, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay here!

The hotel is a lovely small "boutique" hotel tucked away on a quiet side street, but exit the hotel and you are literally two blocks from all the action! The Spanish Steps are very near, as well as several side streets filled with charming cafes and shops. The Hotel Manfredi also appears to be located in a high fashion retail district, so the window shopping alone was quite fascinating, as the window displays were truly like art installations!

Since this was our first time ever to Rome (and to Europe for that matter), we decided to arrange, through the hotel directly, transportation from the airport to the hotel It may have cost us a little bit more, but it gave us a bit of peace of mind knowing that the driver would know exactly where to take us. And upon check-out, we arranged our own taxi from the hotel to the cruise terminal and that worked out fine, too.

The little café inside the hotel is just precious, and the breakfasts offered a nice variety and you can have coffee made any way you like it (cappuccino, latte, espresso, Americano, etc).

After our first day of exploring the city, we were pooped by the time we arrived back at the hotel early that evening. So we went into the café and ordered a couple of cold beers and along with them came some complimentary snacks It was a nice way to wind down after being on our feet all day running around and seeing the sights!

We booked the small room but got bumped up a little bit bigger room upon arrival. It was still pretty small but this is to be expected in Europe. The room was clean and fine, not much of a view and in fact the shutters were almost closed on the outside so the room was a bit dark. But we will most definitely stay at this hotel again, and if finances permit, we may even splurge for one of their suites instead, just to have a little more room and have it possibly be a little bit brighter. This hotel was very reasonably priced, though, so it's a very nice accommodation even in the small rooms.

We did a mixture of Hop on Hop Off Bus, walking, and taxis. Saw a lot of the major sights: Spanish Steps, Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Wedding Cake building, ate fabulous gelato, and hit up some nice restaurants.

When we return to Rome one day (and we will!), we won't even look any further, we will stay at Hotel Manfredi again. It was the perfect hotel for us.

Room tip: If you can afford the splurge, upgrade to a suite. Or see if you can get a free upgrade to a larger room if they have the availability,

Dear Guest
First of all thank you very much to have been ore nice and great guest.

The Spanish Steps marks the centre of post-ancient and renaissance Rome and Hotel Manfredi is positioned just 100 metres from this vibrant district. Indeed it is hard to imagine a better place to be positioned to be within walking distance of so many of the main tourist attractions and with such amazing shopping, eating and drinking opportunities. We always try to do our best to give you a good service and thank you very much for the compliments.
The Hotel Manfredi Suite in Rome is very well located just one block away from the Spanish Steps and Via Margutta in one of the most beautiful street around the word because is full of art galleries.
Thank you very much to have choose us for you stay in Rome.
The Hotel Manfredi Rome is not just a great value for money 3 star hotel in an idyllic location next to the Spanish Steps and with superior hotel facilities and friendly staff, but is also part of a great history and is situated in an historical building that was commissioned by Antonio d’Alibert. The building was originally a grand theatre named the Teatro Alibert after its patron and was finished in 1718 with one of three entrances situated on Via Margutta. Unfortunately the theatre did not prove to be a success and changed management in 1726 being renamed to the Teatro delle Dame as a reflection of the development of women being permitted to perform in theatres and being owned by the Order of Malta.
All the rooms are very well equipped and we have 7 different typology: from the Small (13 Sqm) to the King Suite (50 sqm).
We would like to inform you also that we are able to: suggest good restaurant, reserve tickets, cars, organize tours in or outside Rome with private or semiprivate group.
Regards
Giovanni Argentina
