“Friendly Excellence in a quiet but accessible part of Rome”

From her gracious meeting and setting up of transportation to her recommendations of where to eat Irene and the the apartment were perfect. Her unexpected rolls and coffee, expresso maker with pods and attention to detail were excellent. The apartment was very modern, clean, and featured free WIFI and televisions in each of the three bedrooms (watched very little but they were there). Her attention to detail and customer service even extended to apologizing for the rain in Rome the morning we departed which delayed the housekeeper retrieving the keys. We had left a message with her saying we left the keys in the mailbox as we had to be at the airport.

A little bit later received a text message from her apologizing for the rain delay even after we had departed. Neighborhood, while in central rome is quiet but only a short couple of blocks walk to major urban environment and the Metro station.

Great for larger groups and we would stay again.

Visited Rome for a city break and there were 5 of us, all adults. Irina the owner kindly arranged for transport from the airport to the apartment and was efficient and worth paying for. The apartment looked and was very nice, clean and had everything you need for your stay in Rome. The 3 rooms were big and tidy, likewise the toilet&shower were clean and well maintained. The kitchen had every utensil you might need including a coffee making machine. Irina was helpful and welcomed us with fresh croissants and a bottle of wine. The apartment is within 5 minutes walk from the metro station.. the metro takes you to all of Rome's attractions including the Vatican in less than 20 minutes... very convenient. The area around the apartment is lovely.. there is a supermaket very close to the apartment block.. within a 5 minutes walking distance there is a desserts shop called Pompi which I highly recommend you try.. desserts were yum!. Wifi was freely available and was very good. Overall a very positive and pleasant experience.

“Nice apartment to come back to”

The owner of the apartment, Irina, offered to provide taxi service from Roma Termini station, but we went there in a bus and she was there at the entrance of the apartment on time to meet us.

The three rooms were brightly coloured and were nice to look at and come home to, after a full day's walking. Everything in the house was clean and in good working condition - toilets, shower, washing machine, stove, coffee maker etc.

The apartment is about 5 minute's walk from the nearest Metro station, and the nearby buses also go to the major tourist attractions. There's a supermarket right opposite the road, convenient for grocery shopping. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, and also in the day.

Our flight out was in the evening, and Irina arranged a taxi for us, and kindly let us put our luggage in the house for the day. Overall very good value for money.

“Very comfy and good location”
Reviewed 21 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Stayed here for a week in April with my wife and young daughter

Accommodation is 3 good sized doubles, each with an en-suite. It's set well back from the road and there's no traffic noise. You do hear noise from other flats though, but that's the same in any apartment. There is a small central dining kitchen but no central seating area other than the kitchen table, which you can't really use for socialising as it'll likely disturb anyone in the bedrooms.

Location is good. It is a 20 min walk to the Coliseum, but you can just as easily take a taxi from the rank at the main junction (cost 10 euros - we used taxis mostly and most expensive back to the apartment from Piazza Navona was 17 euros. Note: taxis who quote prices for journeys are rip-off merchants. They are legally required to charge by the meter).

There's also a couple of reasonable places for breakfast nearby (e.g. Cafe Britannia, gets the sun in the morning) and a few local shops for daily groceries. Kitchen is fine and everything you need is provided. Balcony looks on to a brick wall, so isn't very scenic but we were out all day, so it wan't an issue

Irina, your host, is very welcoming and arranged a taxi to and from the airport. Cost was 90 euros, which is 10 euros more expensive than catching one on your own (Fiumicino to central Rome is fixed price 40 euros for one way) but the extra 10 euros was worth it for the concourse to door service.

Only downside is the central living area is the kitchen, which all the bedrooms open directly on to. All the bedrooms have TVs, so you can watch TV in the bedroom later in the evening, but sitting round the kitchen table in the evening risks keeping others awake. Still a very good choice though and good value for money.

Thank you, for your review.
I'm sorry for the noise of the apartment near; they were doing renovation work.
Certainly at the next visit there will be more noise
